Music Made Visible
SPOLVERI is a form of contemporary abstract art, that visualizes every aspect of sound—frequency, dynamics, loudness, and more—using a science-based approach to define colors and shapes. This meticulous process captures the essence of music in a unique visual experience with exacting detail.
Driven by a Love of Music
With a commitment to innovation and a unique blend of art and science, we challenge conventional boundaries, bringing every nuance of sound into a visual form.
The Music Visualization Process
-
The process starts by converting the music into a format suitable for analysis. A spectrogram is then generated, which represents the audio's frequency spectrum over time. The intensity of different frequencies is visualized through colors, capturing the dynamic nature of the music.
-
Each frequency in the music is associated with a specific color, translating the range of human hearing (20Hz to 20,000Hz) into the visible light spectrum (400THz to 790THz). This mapping allows every musical note to correspond to a distinct color. The combination of frequencies at any given moment determines the blend of colors in its resonance.
-
Each piece is comprised of warbles (shapes). A warble represents a tiny slice of time in the music. It’s color, shape, and size are derived directly from the audio’s properties at that exact moment. These fluid shapes move dynamically, syncing with the flow and rhythm of the music, bringing the sound to life visually.
